One night at 16 years old, Georgette had severe pain during her period. This was something not new to her. She thought the pain was something that came hand-in-hand with womanhood. It wasn't until her father saw her in agony unable to walk or stand that she started to realize this was far from normal.
At the hospital, the paramedic told the ER doctor it was 'the menses.' The doctor rolled their eyes and stuck her in a Spongebob-themed room for hours without any relief.
Georgette started her journey to be pain-free. She was dismissed many times by doctors saying, "unfortunately pain is normal." When she did get medications, relief would be brief and eventually would stop working.
Light at the end of the tunnel
Through her work using pain management techniques, rebalancing hormones, and digestive imbalances in her body, Georgette has drastically reduced her pain and GI symptoms. After half her life suffering through pain, she finally found the light at the end of the tunnel.
Georgette is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach specializing in optimizing wellness and reducing pain symptoms for people who have chronic pain and pelvic pain. She uses pain science and functional medicine research to look at imbalances within the body to reduce and manage symptoms.
Georgette has received her certification from Take Courage Coaching University, a health and wellness coaching program specializing in chronic pain. She has also attended The Coach Training Academy where she received her Transpersonal Wellness Coach certification and Women's Empowerment Coach certification. She is excited to work with other women to help them find their inner healing and to help them find relief.
